Cancer Procedures & Treatment

Conway Regional offers a variety of treatment and procedure options. Physicians and patients will create a plan of treatment that could include the use of some of the following treatment/procedure options.

Surgery Services

Conway Regional offers inpatient and outpatient surgery services on the medical center campus. Our surgical staff has the expertise to aid patients in deciding which surgical procedure or other treatment options are best for them.

Hematology

Our cancer department offers inpatient and outpatient treatment and care, including an expanded Cancer Hematology Outpatient Unit dedicated to both cancer and hematology including chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy/Radiation Therapy

Chemotherapy treatments may be given on an inpatient or outpatient basis per the patient's physician. This means that treatment regimes and protocols prescribed by specialists at top cancer facilities, including those for rare forms of cancer, can all be performed within the health system. Chemotherapy services are provided through the outpatient center located on the second floor of the hospital.

Additional Services

Many individuals with cancer develop a common post-operative condition called lymphedema. We have specially trained lymphedema management (Leduc Method) occupational therapists on staff at the Conway Regional Therapy Centers. Only a few individuals in Central Arkansas have this specialized training.
